Guy Sands History of Service to the U.S. Military

Guy Sands is a decorated serviceman for the United States Army and Army Reserves. He began in ROTC at Fordham University while doing graduate study in political economics. He was a member of the Pershing Rifle Team there, and he graduated as a commissioned infantry lieutenant. He began active duty with the Berlin Brigade and then served as U.S. Army Ranger Training Brigade. Guy served on the General Staff to the second infantry division and later became commander of the United Nations Honor Guard Company. Guy was deployed again during Operation Desert Storm with the 142nd Infantry Detachment. He was selected for Special Forces training following his service in Desert Storm. Guy served in a training capacity for years before returning to school at the Army War College, earning a master’s in strategic studies.
